Menopause Doula Support: Navigating Your Midlife Transition
The transition through perimenopause and menopause—often referred to as "the second spring"—a hormonal life event as significant as birth itself. Yet, it is usually met with confusion, inadequate medical guidance, and emotional isolation.
The Chaun Collective is proud to announce the forthcoming launch of our Menopause Doula Service, adapting our model of continuous, expert support to this vital stage of life.
What Does a Menopause Doula Offer?
Our Menopause Doulas are trained professionals who provide personalized, non-clinical, long-term support focused on well-being, clarity, and empowerment.
Informational Clarity & Advocacy
We help you cut through confusion and understand the complexities of hormonal health so you can make informed, confident decisions.
Symptom Mapping: Support in tracking patterns—hot flashes, sleep changes, mood shifts, cycle irregularities—to bring clear data to clinical appointments.
Treatment Navigation: Unbiased, evidence-based review of options including Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), lifestyle strategies, and integrative or holistic approaches.
Clinical Advocacy: Preparation for medical appointments or in-person advocacy (as desired) to ensure your questions are answered and your preferences respected.
Emotional Processing & Resilience
Menopause often coincides with major life shifts. We provide grounded emotional support to help you navigate identity changes, relationship dynamics, and the psychological impact of hormonal transition.
Active Listening & Support Circles: Compassionate space to process mood changes, identity evolution, anxiety, or grief connected to midlife.
Partner & Family Communication: Tools for communicating changing needs and strengthening connection with partners and loved ones.
Body Image & Self-Acceptance: Coaching practices that foster body confidence, self-compassion, and grounded acceptance through each stage.
Lifestyle & Wellness Strategy
Working alongside your existing medical team, we help you implement daily habits and supportive routines that ease physical symptoms and enhance overall wellbeing.
Sleep Optimization: Root-cause exploration and personalized strategies to improve rest and regulate circadian rhythms.
Nutrition & Movement: Guidance and resources for hormone-supportive nutrition, strength and mobility routines, and sustainable wellness habits.
Resource Curation: Connection to trusted specialists—pelvic floor therapists, functional medicine providers, mental health professionals, and others who support midlife health.
Coming Soon: A New Standard of Midlife Care
We are currently building our training cohort and finalizing our service structure to ensure the same high level of quality, professional management, and advocacy you expect from our birth services.
